About
Hello! My name is Jamie, and I am Stornes (stor-ness) Home Life, a business dedicated to creating comfortable, functional, and welcoming spaces using the wisdom and inspiration of generations past. I’d love for you to get to know me, and hope to get to know you as well!
As an unrelenting maximalist, I have learned the art of organization and home decor that embraces that max lifestyle. I create order without sacrificing the items that hold high value or nostalgia in our lives and which brings to life true self-expression. Some people bring home stray animals…I bring home stray home goods. Nothing makes me happier than the sight of a thing that can hold other things, or a piece of furniture that just needs a little love (and maybe a coat of paint!). I believe that much of what we need in our spaces is either already there, or can be sourced through our own community as we pass along what no longer serves us. I’ve found much of my inspiration (and personal home decor!) from my Grandmother and Mother who’s Nordic roots instilled habits of keeping everything in its place, thrifting, and above all, making every space koselig for all.
My passion for living this lifestyle drives my desire to help others create this in their own lives. I love extending this passion beyond my own walls to create efficient, organized, and happy spaces for our greater community.

Mission
The core of our mission is the belief that every space has the potential to be a canvas for self-expression, provide efficiency through life’s events, and offer a true sense of comfort. By understanding the distinct needs and aspirations of our clients, we deliver solutions that not only enhance functionality but also celebrate individuality. Our focus on reuse and revival brings solutions that are both sustainable and budget-friendly.
